Sounds like you are more than just a casual music fan… perhaps more like a real audiophile. Maybe some of your friends even think you are a little bit of a music snob…even though they still rely on you to turn them on to the greatest new bands.

Do you believe that an mp3 is great, but there is nothing that comes close to seeing a live performance? Do you wish that you could see more live performances in downtown San Jose and throughout Silicon Valley?

We do too! And we’re doing something about it – Left Coast Live. Founded by local musicians, music lovers, arts leader and downtown business owners, we are bringing together 100 bands in 35 venues to celebrate live music, discuss what is cutting edge and up the cool factor in downtown San Jose. We want this to be not just a once a year festival, but the beginning of a cultural shift towards a year-round vibrant live music scene.

You can be part of it! We need help from folks like you who want to be part of this movement to give Silicon Valley’s music scene a much needed shot in the arm. We have big plans and would love you to be in on the ground floor.

“Just when we thought ridiculously ambitious art (always the best kind) was dead in the South Bay, along came Left Coast Live. It’s not so much a question of ‘What is the mission of this festival?’ as ‘What isn’t the mission of this festival?’ It’s back with six days, 35 stages and 100 bands.
