Getting Hyped…Getting Discovered. LCL and Cinequest present an inspirational and entertaining evening celebrating the concept of discovery by looking back through film at a recent music movement, while preparing to discover new artists at LCL that could be the makers of a new scene. Hype! is an engaging documentary that unveils Seattle’s underground music scene explosion of the late ’80’s and early ’90’s, from the first day of Green River and Mudhoney to the era-ending death of Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain.

Join us for a discussion with Left Coast Live’s music booking team, as we discuss the “discovery” process of new music and the next “big thing” as musicians and as event promoters.  Moderated by Cinequest’s Halfden Hussey.
