Guitarist, composer, music teacher, sideman, and Mark Arroyo does it all, bringing his unique guitar style to stages across the country. From nightclubs and restaurants in California, to arenas in Connecticut, and even the San Jose Jazz Festival, Arroyo mixes his love of jazz, funk, rock, hip-hop, and electronica to create a sound that’s both foreign and familiar.
The Mark Arroyo Trio highlights Arroyo’s own compositions alongside re-worked modern rock classics, all while bridging the gap between audiences of modern jazz and the indie underground. Joining him in the trio are Fred Paclibon on bass and Sutton Marley on drums.

Emerging jazz vocalist Amy Dabalos is a gifted artist noted for her exceptional interpretation of song. For the past several years Amy has performed regularly in Southern California with her own jazz combo and is a recent guest at the Manhattan Supper Club. Her style and approach to jazz singing is greatly influenced by jazz legends Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, and Nancy Wilson, as well as exceptional modern jazz artists Gretchen Parlato and Esperanza Spalding. Recently back in her home-town of San Jose, Amy recorded her first EP, Some Other Time, which showcases both a sensitivity and dynamism that are trademark of her voice. Equally comfortable on the operatic stage, Amy will be appearing this season with Opera San Jose. Amy will be performing at The Temple Bar featuring Rick Vandivier on guitar.
