Band Resource Guide

Welcome to Left Coast Live! We are excited to have your band on this year’s festival on Saturday October 8th in downtown San Jose!

This page is to guide you through the Left Coast Live check-in and load-in process, including venue specific information.

We need to get every band’s Stage Plots and Input Lists ASAP; please email them to Barbara or fax them to: (408) 241-2940! If you do not have time to get them to us, then please bring them with you to your venue/stage and give to the sound guy or stage manager.

Band Promo Codes
Don’t forget to tell your fans about your band promo code (excluding headliners/subliners) so they can save $2 off ticket price, and you make $3 per ticket sold! If you do not have your band code, please contact Barbara at: barbara[at]leftcoastlive[dot]com

Band/Artist Check-in
Bands/Artists performing on one of the three outdoor stages or Silent Disco should check-in at the entry gate/band load-in area adjacent to their respective stages. Bands/Artists performing at Perfect Finish, Temple Bar, or Good Kharma should check-in at the First Street gate. There will be security at each of these entrances, so just let them know you are performing and they will get the stage manager/volunteer for you, who will provide you with your check-in packets. If band members are arriving separately, then the first one to arrive should check-in, get their packet, and then distribute the wristbands to the other band members.

Tickets/Wristbands
Your check-in packet will contain 4 wristbands for band members. This wristband gets you into the festival and backstage. If bands have more than 4 band members, please contact Barbara via email and let her know how many band members you have so we can accommodate you with more than 4 wristbands.

Guest Passes
Bands will also receive 4 general admission guest passes in their check-in packets. It is your responsibility to hand out these guest wristbands! Any additional guests will need to buy their tickets in advance at the discounted $15 price, and with promo code if applicable. Ticket price does go up to $20 the day of the festival on Saturday October 8th. Please note that children under the age of 12 are free!

Parking
Currently there are no special parking arrangements for bands, therefore, it is each band’s responsibility to find, and pay if required, for parking in downtown San Jose. We encourage all of you to condense your equipment into the least amount of vehicles to avoid having to search for and pay for multiple parking spots.

Unloading/Loading Zones
We have set up “no parking” zones that may be used for unloading/loading your gear. These areas are stage specific, so please see list below for the closest unloading/loading zone to your stage/venue. Please note that all bands playing the same stage will need access to these unloading/loading zones, so please be courteous to your fellow performers and don’t use up all the spaces at once.
