This page is to guide you through the Left Coast Live check-in and load-in process, including venue specific information.
We need to get every band’s Stage Plots and Input Lists ASAP; please email them to Barbara or fax them to: (408) 995-5713! If you do not have time to get them to us, then please bring them with you to your venue/stage and give to the sound guy or stage manager.
FYI ALL Bands: Videography at LCL
Heads up to all LCL artists. Element 151 will be videotaping a short ”behind the scenes” documentary “South of Rock” at LCL. If you would like to be considered to be featured in the film, contact Chante Cardoso at chante@151films.com and tell her about your band. In addition, CreaTV will be taping on behalf of Left Coast Live to be used for LCL promotional purposes.
Band Promo Codes
Don’t forget to tell your fans about your band promo code so they can save $2 off ticket price! If you do not have your band code, please contact Barbara at: barbara[at]leftcoastlive[dot]com
Band/Artist Check-in
Bands/Artists need to check-in at the registration table, which will be behind the Mini-Main stage on Market Street, right near the San Salvador intersection. Bands will receive 4 passes for the day they are performing only. If they have more than 4 band members, then they can advise the LCL staff at check-in. Bands/Artists will need to purchase tickets for the day they are not performing.
Parking
After you load-in, you can park at the Market Street lot under the Highway 280 overpass at no charge. Bands/Artists will be parking at their own risk, Left Coast Live will not be responsible for any stolen equipment or other damages. You can let your fans know that the Convention Center (parking lot outside next to the big blue tent on Market Street) has been gracious to offer $7 parking, opposed to the regular $20 charge. They should take advantage of this because street parking is limited.
NOTE: If you happened to get a parking ticket while parked in the Market Street parking lot under the Highway 280 overpass on Fri June 25 or Sat June 26, then LCL can get your parking ticket waived. Just contact us and bring in your ticket and we can get it voided out!!
Unloading/Loading Zones
We have set up “no parking” zones, but you may use them for unloading/loading. These areas are:
* The South side of the 400 block of Market Street between San Salvador & Williams.
* The South side of the 300 block of Market Street in front of 360 Residences.
Please print out “loading” pass you received in Band Aid newsletter #2 to put on your windshields to park in these loading zones. Links to all Band Aid newsletters are at the bottom of this page.
All bands load-in 1.5 hours before their set time, unless otherwise specified below, with a line check 30 minutes before their start time.
Except for the Main & Mini-Main stages, there is NO BACKLINE at any of the stages/venues, so bands/artists need to bring all their own gear! LCL and/or venue will be providing PA and sound.
