Like something out of a dream, the Life Size Mousetrap is a board game turned into a large extravaganza! The incredible hand crafted collection of 16 kinetic sculptures are placed on top of a 6,500-square-foot game board. The giant 25-ton Rube Goldberg-styled machine turns into a live vaudevillian style show with crazy hi jinks, tap dancing mice, and live music by Esmerelda Strange to accompany the wild performance.
Clown engineers will be on hand to carry out the highly anticipated chain reaction- the release of a bowling ball passing through multiple steps resulting in… Surprise! You’ll have to see it for yourself.
The Life Size Mousetrap traveling show has entertained hundreds of thousands patrons at various fairs and festivals such as the recent San Mateo Maker Faire which also featured our 2010 headliner, OK Go. This year, the Life Size Mousetrap, created by fungineer Mark Perez, will hit the road again and stopping by the Austin, Detroit and New York Makers Faire. For more information, click here.
